Yamaha AR240 Boat Receives Prestigious Award for Its Innovative Design
KENNESAW, GA – Yamaha WaterCraft announced today that the 2012 AR240 sport boat was named a Design Museum Selection by the Japan Industrial Designer’s Association (JIDA). Based on the theme of “Aiming for a rich and beautiful life,” award winners were selected by their ability to meet the following criteria:
- Products that suggest a new lifestyle
- Products of the new generation
- Products that represent new lifestyle applying innovative technology
- Products of new styling
Regarding the Yamaha AR240’s ability to meet these criteria, the JIDA noted “With this fusion of design, function and performance, Yamaha delivers an exciting product for a new era of marine boat.”
